The eicom/Soccer Writers' Association of Ireland's Annual General Meeting will take place at 3:15pm sharp on Wednesday October 15 at The Maples House Hotel. All full members are urged to attend the meeting, at which applications for membership and the composition of the officer board for the coming year will be voted upon. Mark Quigley wins Player of the Month Award for August
Mark Quigley has been named the eircom/Soccer Writers Association of Ireland player of the month for August.
Ollie Cahill wins Player of the Month Award for July
Ollie Cahill has been named the eircom/Soccer Writers Association of Ireland (SWAI) Player of the Month for July.
The Drogheda United midfielder scooped the award on the basis of his performances in Europe, as the Louth men overcame poor league form to perform strongly in the Champions League.
Dave Mooney wins Player of the Month Award for June
Cork City striker Dave Mooney has been named the eircom/Soccer Writers Association of Ireland [SWAI] Player of the Month for June.
The Dubliner has been in prolific form for his new employers following his winter move from Longford Town where he ended last year as Premier Division top scorer despite the teams relegation.
