Prior to the recent friendly against Brazil, the SWAI presented a cheque for €4,000 to Seán Kavanagh, organiser of the Homeless Street League. The majority of the money was kindly donated by members and guests at our annual banquet with the association also making a contribution. Seán, who is editor of the Issues Magazine, came to our pre-match function to collect the cheque from President Neil O'Riordan and Vice-President Owen Cowzer and explained how the money would be used.
