Soccer Writers' Association of Ireland

The Soccer Writers' Association of Ireland is a representative body with a membership of close to 100 journalists working in the written, broadcast and electronic media. The purpose of the association is to promote the interests of its members and to ensure that the best possible working conditions are provided for them. As an association, we recognise excellence with six different awards, details of which can be found elsewhere on this site.Elections for the seven officers positions are held on an annual basis at our AGM. If you wish to join the association as a probationary member, you must be proposed and seconded by separate full members of the association.
